Once Small Step – Rose Gold

One Small Step – Rose Gold, made in 2021 as an edition of only 29 editions, however, due to production difficulties, only a handful of editions were good enough for sale and they are now available here. The Sculpture is absolutely beautiful and made to a very high-quality standard.

The breakdancing astronaut figure is approximately 33 cm tall and it is made of resin. It comes in two parts, the base, and the astronaut. The base is a solid piece of resin and is fairly heavy to keep the center of mass low it is reinforced with a steel road to keep the astronaut steadily in place. The production was quite tricky and intricate as the rotomoulded astronaut was made in a few separate pieces ie backpack and the pipes to make sure it is rather lightweight and to be able to chrome it safely.

The result however is remarkable. The astronaut is definitely a head-turner and demands attention. It is one of those conversation pieces that have an interesting story that can be backed up with a lovely print, but more on that later.

Additionally, each piece is numbered and signed on a backpack and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
